What you'll be doing:

• Assess and record customers' chemical/hazardous waste on-site safely.
• Package and label waste according to environmental and transport regulations.
• Collect and transport waste from customer sites in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure accurate completion of waste transfer documentation.
• Handle waste safely, following company procedures and legislation.
• Provide technical advice to customers and sample waste when necessary.
• Drive a 3.5ton Luton Van for hazardous waste collections.
• Use Veolia's IT systems for documentation, waste assessment, and quoting.
• Mentor new starters when sufficiently experienced.
• Assist with hazardous waste transfer station operations and management as needed.

What we're looking for:

• The successful applicant will have a degree/HNC in chemistry or a relevant scientific qualification.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and upon their own initiative.
• An ability to overcome problems and find solutions independently.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
