Job description

Are you a Band 5 MMT Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in South London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: MMT Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

Location: South London - NHS Hospital

Duration: 3 months

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)

Start Date: April

End Date: July

Rate of Pay: £22 - £24 per hour (Paid Direct Engagement PAYE)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 5 MMT Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in improving the lives of hospital patients. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform comprehensive medication management tasks
  2. Assist in ward-based pharmacy services
  3. Support safe and effective use of medicines in a hospital setting
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
  5. Maintain accurate medication records
Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  2. Experience working in a hospital setting, particularly on wards
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
