Position: Mixed Tax Manager

Location: Central Manchester

About the Role:

Clark Wood has been instructed on a rare opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to join a prominent accountancy and tax firm in Central Manchester. This role involves leading and developing the firm's tax offering while managing a significant existing client portfolio.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Development: Lead and grow the tax team in the Manchester office.
2. Client Management: Maintain and expand a substantial client portfolio, including SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships, and HNWIs.
3. Tax Advisory: Provide high-level advisory and planning services, covering private client and business tax work, tax enquiry work, tax advisory support to HNWIs, trusts, family wealth, corporate and property transactions, and business restructures.
4. Business Development: Actively develop client services, grow the tax portfolio, and increase the firm's tax service exposure through networking and business development activities.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: CTA and/or ACCA/ACA qualified.
2. Experience: Relevant experience in IHT and CGT planning, and advising on residence and domicile issues.
3. Track Record: Proven success in business development and growing client portfolios.
