Mixed Practice Veterinary Surgeon

An exciting opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic and friendly Veterinary Surgeon with expertise in both Companion Animal and Large Animal care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional veterinary services.

The practice is a mixed, small and large animal clinic with a solid farm base and a growing companion animal caseload. The primary focus will be on small animals, with farm work included for on-call duties. Facilities include advanced equipment such as DR X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscopy, and more. The purpose-built Large Animal unit is equipped for diverse cases, including beef, sheep, camelids, and goats.

Out-of-hours duties are well-supported by a dedicated nurse, with no routine weekend consultations and a Friday off after on-call weekends. Pool cars are provided for convenience and comfort.
