We are currently looking for a Minimix Internal Sales Representative to join our friendly team based in Loughborough. This role is commutable from Quorn, Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Shepshed, Syston, Glenfield, Ibstock, Sileby, Kegworth, Nottingham, Derby, Grantham, Matlock, Tunstead, Derby, Dene, Ashbourne, Oakham, Bardon Hill and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, the Minimix Internal Sales Representative will be working within a busy environment playing a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious sales and customer service targets mainly through telephone communication whilst identifying upstream lead generation.

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities as Minimix Internal Sales Representative will include (not exhaustive):

1. Raising and pricing quotes processing to order conversion or query resolution as timely and effectively as possible
2. Converting enquiries into orders at the best possible contribution to maximise profitability within approved pricing levels
3. Keeping updated with the product range and developing in-depth knowledge of the Tarmac Readymix and Minimix offerings
4. Being proactive in reviewing customer accounts and generating opportunities to manage the Readymix and Minimix business pipeline
5. Operating to agreed SLA’s and providing high levels of customer service
6. Promoting Value Added Products with new and existing customers
7. Utilising skills and tools cascaded from the Commercial Excellence initiatives
8. Following internal processes and procedures to ensure ‘Good Practice’ is maintained at all times
9. Ensuring customer records and systems are continually updated and accurate

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in the role of a Minimix Internal Sales Representative, the following is what we are looking for in a future colleague:

1. Ability to effectively operate a varied range of IT systems
2. Experience in a fast-paced Sales or Customer Service role
3. Able to create rapport through considered questioning and accurate active listening
4. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and self-manage time effectively
