To carry out tasks set by site management, and be responsible for carrying out deep drainage excavations, shafts, tunnelling, connections to sewer lines, general groundworks and reinstatements and ensure a high level of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and carry out job set tasks

Use best/safe practice when carrying out any tasks
Carry out safety checks on equipment in use and ensure proper process followed to report issues

Communication with site management
Communicate with site supervisor about any concerns
Feedback to site management regarding near miss reporting

Person Specification:
The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria:
Essential
Experience of general civils works, drainage, ducting and concreting
Experience in shaft sinking both Caison and Segmental underpin, headings and pit sinking using sheets and frames
