You’ll work closely with our small, friendly team to help keep our content accurate, accessible and up to date, and support a range of admin and communication tasks that help us reach people across Leeds.

This role would suit someone interested in the third sector and keen to learn more about the local mental health landscape in Leeds. You’ll gain insight into how services work together across the NHS, the council and community organisations and help us make that system easier to navigate for the people who need it most.

Salary: Scale 4 SCP 9 -11, starting at £26,409 (pro-rata)
Hours: 10 – 14 hours per week
Contract: 12 months fixed term (View to extend subject to funding)

Key responsibilities:

  • To undertake website administration, including checking content for accuracy, troubleshooting/updating broken links and making updates to the MindWell website via the CMS (WordPress).
  • To contribute to the production and sending of the MindWell email newsletter.
  • Proactive, regular phone and email contact with organisations and services listed on MindWell to ensure content is up-to-date.
  • To collate and create social media and promotional content, including sourcing imagery and photos, editing graphics, news and blog items, where applicable.
  • To support with content formatting, proofreading and uploading of new resources as needed.
  • To work closely with the MindWell team supporting both internal and external communications.
  • Design work on Canva and using PowerPoint and Google slides to produce reports and presentations to support our external and internal communications (training can be provided).
  • Assist with service directory database management systems and maintaining up-to-date contacts and mailing preference lists.
  • Support team members with planning, promotion and successful execution of events, as well as capturing and sharing learning and takeaways.
  • Help keep MindWell promotional items in stock, including ordering printed materials and arranging delivery.
  • Maintain filing systems for resources, documents and editorial records.
