Mill Operatives

Temporary to Permanent opportunity!

Tuesday to Friday day shifts (3-day weekend)

South Kent Rural Location

GBP12.28 per hour

My client, a successful and established organisation, is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Mill Operatives to join their thriving team!

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, with a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience working within a manual, production/manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Duties include:

  • Preparing wooden panels in accordance with daily order sheets, ready for assembly/production.
  • Operating industrial equipment safely.
  • Escalating any faults or imperfections.
  • Always adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Any other duties required.

The right candidate will have/be:

  • Experience working within the manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location of the company.
  • A strong team player.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Helpful, reliable, and confident.
  • Quick and methodical.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • Flexible and proactive.
