Migration Engineer

Concept are currently looking to recruit 5 experienced Migration Engineers within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes to complete a 14-week initial contract with a chance of extension.

Start - 16th September 2024
Duration - 14 weeks until 20th December 2024

The Role:

Will involve the following tasks:

• Provide remote technical support to end-users during the migration process.
• Assist in the configuration and testing of IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Document and maintain detailed records of migration activities and support tickets.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on migration progress and address any concerns.
• Sign off on completed tasks.

The Candidate:

Must have a minimum of 1-3 years' employment experience within an IT migration/helpdesk/field-based engineering role and be able to:

• Support client systems, services, and migrations.
• Be confident with IT software and carry out the migration process.
• Provide the client with high levels of customer service and have a proven background in doing so.

Rate Information / Benefits:

• Monday - Thursday evening work (training 1 week Monday - Friday days 9am - 5pm).
• Standby rota 1 week in 3 or 4.
• 9.30pm - 5.30am.
• £162.50 per day via Umbrella Company (Inside IR35).
• Flexible remote work environment - working from home during evening installs, based local to MK for ease of access to training.
• Laptop and phone provided.
