Job description

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established manufacturing company in their search for a MIG Fabricator Welder to work in St Helens.

For the successful MIG Fabricator Welder our client is offering:

  • Hourly rate of £16.00 per hour
  • Working hours Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays
  • Overtime paid at x1.5
  • Temporary Position

The role - MIG Fabricator Welder:

  • Fabrication of steel products using galvanised steel
  • Fabrication using thin gauge steel (1.5mm - 3.5mm)
  • MIG Welding
  • Oxyacetylene & plasma cutting
  • Working from drawings
  • Using workshop machinery

What our client is looking for in a MIG Fabricator Welder:

  • City & Guilds/NVQ in fabrication or welding - BENEFICIAL
  • Previous MIG welding experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Working knowledge of all types of electric power tools - ESSENTIAL
  • Fabricating experience - BENEFICIAL
  • Experience welding galvanised steel - BENEFICIAL
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
