We would like to recruit a highly motivated Midwife to join our welcoming, supportive, and friendly Enhanced Support Midwifery team working across central Lancashire.
You will work in partnership with a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary team from midwifery, health, and social care to provide and co-ordinate the highest standards of care for women and their families with complex social issues.
You will support your colleagues by coordinating care and providing training and guidance in maternal mental health for key maternity staff, enabling them to provide holistic care that optimizes mental as well as physical health.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a key role within the enhanced support midwifery team.
- Develop and maintain high standards of care for women and their families with complex social needs and challenges in pregnancy and the postnatal period.
- Support the specialist midwives within the team on a daily basis caring for women and their families with complex social issues.
- Be rostered within the team to carry out the daily safety huddle and duty responsibilities.
- Have a sound knowledge of working with families with complex social issues.
