Middleweight Designer
Location: London
Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 GBP

Our client is an exciting boutique agency specialising in shopper marketing, eCommerce campaigns, social output, and seasonal retail launch campaigns. Situated in the heart of London's creative hub, Shoreditch, this is a great opportunity for a middleweight digital designer to join a growing team in a freelance to perm capacity to work on clients in the sports, fashion, and automotive sectors.

You must be available immediately as a freelancer to apply for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Utilise your skills in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, and InDesign to create high-quality website assets, e-newsletters, guidelines, and social media content.
  2. Video editing and animation skills.
  3. Understand how websites function.
  4. Report into senior designers and project managers regarding briefs, feedback, and workload; at times also be client-facing.
  5. Strong technical understanding of whether or not tasks are possible to implement.
  6. Suggest ideas and push boundaries where appropriate.
  7. Deliver work to a high standard; attention to detail is key.
  8. Ensure senior members of the design team and the Creative Director are satisfied with your work before it is sent to the PM.
  9. Work well as part of a team as well as independently with senior designers and PMs for support.
  10. Use downtime to up-skill or assist the team with B&M campaigns.
  11. Integrate seamlessly into the dynamic of our small, close-knit team, fostering a strong sense of friendship and community.
  12. Design website assets, e-newsletters, guidelines, and social content.
  13. Basic coding is a bonus.
  14. Be positive and approachable, contributing to our studio culture.

Set Up:

  • WFH 3 days and studio Wednesdays & Thursdays, 09:30-17:30 with lunch between 13:00-14:00.
  • 20 days holiday plus usually 2 weeks over Christmas.
