Purpose of the Role:
As the Middleweight Digital Designer, your primary purpose is to create high-quality promotional materials that captivate and excite the customer across our online and in-store experience. Collaborating closely with the creative team, you will lead initiatives to enhance the brand's image through best-in-class content for multi-channel consumer communications, expanding into areas like UI/UX, website assets, emails, and social media content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating website assets and landing pages to enhance user experience on the website.
- Improving the website's user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to ensure a positive experience for visitors.
- Designing visually appealing and effective email campaigns to engage the target audience and prompt action.
- Developing engaging and visually appealing designs for social media and editorial content that align with the brand's marketing objectives.
- Producing promotional materials and campaigns for seasonal events and product launches to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Crafting visually appealing and effective banner ads to attract the target audience's attention and increase website traffic.
- Designing digital promotions for display on store and shopping centre screens to encourage foot traffic and sales.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Experience with website UI design, showcasing demonstrated ability in creating user interfaces.
- Knowledge of UX design principles, ensuring user experiences are intuitive and engaging.
- Understanding of typography and layout principles, applying them to create visually compelling content.
- Experience in video editing and animation, equipped with skills to produce dynamic visual content.
