The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a pre-kindergarten through 8^th grade school located in Weston, MA, seven miles west of Boston, is seeking a part-time middle school science educator to join our faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a 0.25 FTE position teaching one section of 8th grade environmental science.

Our middle school science program includes three courses: life science (grade 6), physical science (grade 7), and environmental science (grade 8). • Utilize Meadowbrook’s 30-acre campus as an outdoor classroom.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience and ability to design effective science curricula.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom.
• Adept at SEL methods to help students thrive; previous experience with Responsive Classroom and/or RULER highly preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with classroom uses of technology is a plus.

Annualized salary for faculty is determined according to a step scale commensurate with experience.
