Job summary
An established industry player is seeking MiDAS Trainers to provide high-quality driver education for community transport providers. Provision of high quality driver training in line with agreed aims and objectives. This will be delivered in a mix of theoretical and practical sessions to small groups of learners.
- To maintain the MiDAS DAT (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme Driver Assessor Trainer) qualification.
- To establish and promote an ongoing programme of regular MiDAS Training sessions and to work as part of a team to deliver the training.
- To assist with the identification of additional training needs in the community transport sector and, where appropriate, provision of training to meet these needs.
- To maintain awareness of any legal changes affecting drivers of community minibuses.
- Experience of driver training / education.
