Main purpose of the role:

We are looking for a skilled mid-weight creative designer to create content for our website, CRM, and social media platforms. Working closely with the Lead Creative Designer, you'll collaborate with internal teams (marketing, social, brand, and e-commerce) to deliver high-quality design work.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Develop and design creative concepts for social media, the website, and other channels, working to briefs set by various departments.
• Manage documents, assets, and external relationships to ensure seamless project execution.
• Create artwork to meet the requirements for brand and marketing materials.
• Actively participate in branding and design meetings, contributing fresh and innovative ideas and concepts.
• Take responsibility for supporting the creation of graphics for product launches, campaigns, and brand activations, including internal and external communications.
• Assist with e-commerce photoshoots, including image selection, prep work, post-production folder management, and external relationships. Also, manage website refreshes to ensure updated visuals align with brand standards.
• Design and prepare graphics for the website and email communications, ensuring they are ready for handover to the relevant teams.
• Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand standards, taking responsibility for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of requirements across all marketing/brand communications and materials.
• Ensure all work is delivered on time and to a high standard while pushing creative boundaries and enhancing visual impact.
• Conduct research and apply your design expertise to shape and enhance creative development across various platforms.
• Support junior creatives in their work, act as a mentor, and help develop their skills.
• The role will assist the line manager with various tasks, including administrative duties and supporting the wider team as needed.
• Support the wider brand team with various projects, contributing to the overall brand development and execution.

Person Specification:

• Will have a minimum of 2+ years working in a similar role
• A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Competent user of Adobe creative suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience using video editing software such as After Effects
• Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
• Detailed knowledge of design, layouts, colour, artwork, print, production, brochure design, websites and other digital media.
• An innovative and creative thinker
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Organised with attention to detail
• Confident, self-motivated and proactive

Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stone’s throw away and a beautiful spot to get those.
