Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Microsoft Intune SME – SC Cleared on a Remote basis for an initial 4 month contract.

Role Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Intune Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and related technologies.

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing endpoint management solutions to ensure secure and efficient device management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation: Develop and implement endpoint management strategies using Microsoft Intune, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
2. Configuration Management: Manage and maintain device configurations, policies, and compliance settings to meet organizational requirements.
3. Application Deployment: Package, deploy, and manage applications across various devices using Intune.
4. Security Management: Implement and manage security policies, including device encryption, threat protection, and compliance reporting.
5. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Intune-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
7. Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to IT staff and end-users on Intune best practices and usage.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including network, security, and application teams, to ensure cohesive and secure endpoint management.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
2. Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and related technologies.
2. Strong understanding of Windows Autopilot, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
3. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
4. Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with other endpoint management solutions such as SCCM.
2. Familiarity with virtualization technologies like Azure Virtual Desktop.
3. Experience in a customer-facing role, providing support and training.
