Job description

Role Description

We're looking for a Microsoft 365 Consultant with strong solution development skills. This is a part-time or permanent role based in or around the London area, combining remote work, occasional client-site visits, and in-office collaboration.

This position is ideal for someone with a technical mindset who enjoys designing and building solutions, automating processes, and solving complex challenges using Microsoft 365 technologies. While less client-facing than a traditional consulting role, you'll still be involved in client engagement during discovery, handover, or support phases, often working alongside our solution architects and senior consultants to ensure high-impact outcomes.

You'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, well-documented Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly across SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions using SharePoint, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Microsoft Teams
  • Contribute to solution architecture by advising on best practices for scalability, security, and usability
  • Collaborate with lead consultants and architects to translate client requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Participate in technical discovery sessions and client handovers when needed
  • Maintain clear documentation for solutions, processes, and deployment steps
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal development frameworks and reusable assets
  • Provide occasional troubleshooting or support for deployed solutions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (including admin centres), SharePoint Online, and the Power Platform-especially Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate (Cloud).
  • Proven ability to develop low-code/no-code business solutions, with knowledge of governance and platform best practices
  • Familiarity with PowerFx, JSON, and ideally PowerShell scripting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of system integration, solution architecture, and information management principles
  • Comfortable working independently and in collaborative team environments
  • Experience in client-facing or internal stakeholder roles, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent proven industry experience
  • Microsoft certifications are highly desirable
  • Prompt engineering skills and ability to leverage AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to enhance productivity

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a consultancy or agency environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, Azure Logic Apps, or Dataverse
  • Exposure to agile delivery methodologies
  • A desire to mentor or share knowledge with team members
