#JoinUsBeYou and make a difference to a young person's life.
We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference to young people’s lives.
Pennine Care within Greater Manchester has successfully received funding to develop Mental Health Support Teams (MHST’s) to work in a number of schools and education settings across the borough of Oldham.
Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis within Pennine Care Mental Health Support Teams and will play a key role as members of the Mental Health Support Team. They will be responsible for delivering schools' overarching approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people.
This service will help to reduce disadvantage by intervening early. As part of a new team, you will be empowered to shape and build the service. You will help build and sustain working relationships, both with your colleagues and the wider network.
Above all, we have a desire to develop a service where we can nurture and support staff to have a long-term career in child mental health.
You will be an integral part of the MHST within Oldham. You will be responsible for assessing the needs of the children, planning care, providing interventions, as well as evaluating the care using evidence-based interventions.
You will use your clinical skills to listen to the needs of the child and family to provide meaningful evidence-based interventions that can demonstrate clinical change.
You will support staff in schools and colleges to help the whole system develop an understanding of how to work together to improve health and mental wellbeing.
