Step Teachers are working with a school in Haringey that are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher specialising in French and Spanish, to join their dedicated team on a short-term posting. This role involves teaching both languages up to Key Stage 5, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire students and foster a love for language learning. This role is expected to start in January 2025 and end in July 2025.
MFL Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at various levels.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community.
MFL Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Experience teaching MFL at KS3 up until KS5 level.
