Modern Foreign Languages Teacher MFL

Location: Aylesbury

Salary grade: £29,344 - £44,919 (MPS to UPS)

Start date: Easter 2025

Contract: Full Time

The School:

Supply Desk are pleased to be supporting a Good secondary school located in the Aylesbury area in their search for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher. The school is looking for a teacher that is well organised, confident, personable and engaging. Teachers will need to love the curriculum content so that students can see their passion and subsequently resonate with this passion.

The MFL Role:

• Delivering MFL lessons at KS3/4 and 5 would be an advantage.
• Planning creative lessons to inspire and motivate students and build their confidence in French or Spanish speaking, listening and writing skills.
• Delivering the subject of French or Spanish in a fun way.
• Challenging students and adapting lessons to cater for all abilities.
• Allowing opportunities for re-caps, extension tasks and class discussion.

Requirements:

• Passionate about the subject of French/Spanish.
• Excellent subject knowledge.
• Experience of teaching within a secondary school.
• Relevant qualification NQT/QTS/Trained Overseas.
• French/Spanish (C2) or similar fluency.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organisational skills.
