The Asset Management function within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialised engineering service and equipment provider supporting our customers to minimise cost, maximise return and mitigate risk through their asset's integrity lifecycle.

The Metallurgy and Operations functions within our Asset Management business sector provide technical support and inspection expertise across a wide range of customer projects.

We are currently recruiting for a Metallurgical/Operations (Hybrid) Technician role to join our mission of delivering certified Asset Management service, consultancy, and integrated projects, across the global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.

As a Metallurgical/Operations Technician, you will ideally have a proven track record of providing technical support in a relevant transferable role, as well as demonstrating technical expertise in the field of instrumentation installation, monitoring, and calibration or metallurgical inspection.

You will be supporting a wide variety of customer projects, across a number of sectors from Nuclear to Renewables. As part of this support, you will be required to work on our customers' sites, both in the UK and abroad. Ideally, you will possess an HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline or will be able to demonstrate a proven track record and level of competency in a relevant role.
