Metal Fabricator / Deburrer / Sheet Metal Worker

£13.00 - 15.00 per hour + £2.50 shift allowance
Twilight shift

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a precision engineering company located on the Southern outskirts of Birmingham near Redditch working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

4. Shifts: Afternoons 16.30pm to 02.30am Monday to Thursday

The business is a leading specialist in manufacturing complex, safety-critical components for a number of high profile markets.

Due to continued success and further growth, our client requires additional support within their Fabrication department.

Your responsibilities will include:
Using a wide range of hand and air tools to manufacture parts in line with customer requirements.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

1. Previous fabrication background - minimum 3 years
2. Experience of deburring, linishing, fettling, polishing, air flow machines, chemical etching, guillotines, rollers, masking etc.
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
4. Ability to use hand and air tools effectively & safely
5. Worked with sheet metal
6. IT proficient
