An Aluminum Fabricator will be required to interpret engineer drawings in order to fabricate the body work for aluminum and steel signs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings.
Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, press brakes, table saws, chop saws, drill presses, and routers to cut and bend materials for fabrication.
Weld, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk, or bond component parts to assemble products.
Understand and possess basic fabrication skills.
Ensure that all corporate safety procedures for personnel and equipment in the work area are followed.
Meet established production schedules so that all customer orders are shipped within the time frame established by corporate policy.
Manufacture products precisely as specified in the company’s formal product specifications.
Be responsible for assembling all hardware associated with the assembly of signs.
May be required to perform various manual tasks in other departments as warranted by workload in that department.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: At least 1 year prior experience in aluminum fabrication and construction. Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a Manufacturing/Warehouse environment.
