MET Technician

MET Technician / Strip and Fit Vacancy:

Ref - 88187

- Salary: Paying up to £20 per hour
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours
- Permanent role

Our client, a busy Bodyshop group, is currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician in the Newcastle area.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
2. Dismantling and rebuilding vehicles as instructed
3. Reporting unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as it's identified
4. 4 wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO, diagnostics, and all mechanical work

Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

1. Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
2. ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
3. Hybrid trained
4. ADAS accredited
