MET Technician

Location: Redhill

Salary: Up to £23 Per Hour (DOE)

Hours: 45 hours per week with additional overtime available

Extras: Bonus on target up to £8000 per annum

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join this leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state of the art body shop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Qualifications required for an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician:

1. Will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ)
2. Must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
3. Have experience with Geometry work and 4 wheel Alignment
4. Will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
5. Diagnostic training

Duties of an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician:

1. Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
2. Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
