MET Technician

Location: Ashford

Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)

Hours: 45.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Only (Nights also available)

Extras: £4,000 incentive paid after 6 months of service, 3 pm finish on a Friday and Pension contributions to 8%

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join this leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art body shop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Qualifications required for an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician:

1. Will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ).
2. Must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
3. Have experience with Geometry work and 4 wheel Alignment.
4. Will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
5. Diagnostic training.

Duties of an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician:

1. Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
2. Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.
