Job Description
Manage and maintain stock levels to optimise sales
Work closely with the buying team to forecast trends and manage inventory
Create and implement merchandising plans and standards
Analyse sales reports and market trends
Ensure product presentation is consistent and in line with brand guidelines
Identify potential supplier issues and propose solutions
Coordinate with the retail department to ensure smooth operations

The Successful Applicant
A successful Merchandiser should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
Strong knowledge of merchandise planning principles and high numeracy levels
Established merchandiser with WSSI planning and exposure to OTB
Prior experience in a product planning role in a retail head office role
Exceptional analytical and forecasting abilities within retail
Proficiency in using retail software and inventory management systems
Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
A keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach
