To assist the Merchandiser on a day-to-day basis through effective planning, managing the supply base, re-forecasting sales and intake and ensuring optimum range availability.

Client Details

A great opportunity for a Merchandise Assistant to join a leading Fashion Multi channel retailer in West Yorkshire. The company has been well established and trading for over 30 years, selling Fashion products across Clothing, Accessories, Footwear, and Lingerie.

Description

  1. To manage the delivery schedule in line with stock and intake targets.
  2. To work with the Buying team to manage the critical path.
  3. To maintain good working relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  4. To identify sales/stock opportunities and threats through line reporting and analysis.
  5. To maintain accuracy of Line Cards to maximize the availability of core lines.
  6. To support the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations.
  7. To give support and direction to the Merchandise Administrator.
  8. To deputize for the Merchandiser as required.

Profile

  1. Currently working as a Merchandise Assistant, Merchandising Administrator, or similar.
  2. IT literate and confident user of Excel formulae.
  3. Ability to work as part of a team.
  4. Excellent communicator.
  5. Numerical and methodical approach.
  6. Attention to detail.
  7. Works well under pressure.
  8. A proven self-starter.
