Job description

Role: MEP Site Engineer
Location: West London
Package: £40,000 + travel, 25 days leave + bank holidays, pension & healthcare

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MEP Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor delivering a complex heavy civil engineering project in West London. The MEP Site Engineer will be working closely with the MEP Delivery Manager and will be responsible for managing the delivery of a key phase of the project in West London.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with the project management team on all matters relating to health, safety and the environment.
2. Ensure the supply chain is carrying out works in accordance with the agreed processes and statutory requirements while meeting the set quality standards.
3. Identify snags and defects and agree resolutions with the relevant parties.
4. Work closely with the site project managers, design and engineering team, and QA teams to ensure work is being delivered as expected and in line with the main programme of works.
5. Develop a site-specific programme, in coordination with the commercial teams.
6. Understand the form of Contract being implemented.
7. Keep a full and accurate daily site diary logging details of changes, variations, subcontractors' attendance, and records of work-related discussions with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in the delivery of mechanical or electrical systems including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
2. A relevant qualification e.g. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Strong IT skills.
5. Live within a reasonable commute of the site in West London.
