About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in the South East and play a crucial role in ensuring excellence in project quality and delivery.

As an MEP Quality Assurance Manager, you will support project delivery teams to achieve 'defect-free delivery' and 'right-first-time' quality. You will conduct inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and best practices while driving continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expertise on buildability, material selection, and process improvement for higher quality outcomes.
2. Champion the integration of Modern Methods of Construction and off-site manufacturing for superior project delivery.
3. Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are in place and adhered to.
4. Work closely with the Project Commissioning & Handover Manager to collate required documentation.
5. Conduct quality inspections, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
6. Develop and maintain quality assurance strategies, ensuring alignment with project and business requirements.
7. Support training initiatives to promote a continuous improvement culture.
8. Oversee digital assurance tools such as Autodesk BIM360.
9. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including supply chain partners, design consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Who we're looking for

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
2. Effective leadership with the ability to influence and challenge ways of working.
3. Experience in quality assurance and control within construction or infrastructure projects.
4. Understanding of British Standards, Building Safety Act, and ISO 9001.
5. Ability to inspect and assess MEP installations and processes.
6. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor qualification is desirable.
7. Proficiency in IT systems and quality management tools.
