Your Role
As a Cost Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering cost consultancy and quantity surveying services for MEP packages across the full project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cost Planning & Estimation – Develop accurate MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
- Procurement & Tendering – Analyse MEP tender returns, advise on procurement strategies, and support recommendations to clients.
- Project Financial Management – Monitor budgets, assess variations, and manage MEP valuations from design through to completion.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain trusted relationships, ensuring the highest standards of professional service.
- Team Support & Development – Mentor junior team members and help drive excellence in cost management.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record in cost management/quantity surveying across the full project lifecycle.
- MEP expertise – experience delivering MEP elements of major projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Professional qualification (RICS or similar) or working towards it.
- A degree or HNC-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of and connections within the MEP supply chain (Tier 1 and below) are a plus.
