Role: MEP AutoCAD Technician

Location: Derby

Salary: £30k - £33k

Overview:

I am looking to speak with an experienced AutoCAD technician that is well versed with generating 2D drawings for MEP systems. Established just 5 years ago, this MEP consultancy is a small business that focuses primarily on refurbishment projects within the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. They're now seeking a well-versed CAD technician to assist with their projects. Offering remote working once bedded in - this is a great opportunity.

The Role:

1. 2D AutoCAD work for electrical refurbishments.
2. Hybrid role - ideally 1-2 days a week in the office to build trust before offering more flexibility.
3. Potential for a trial period before moving to a permanent role.
4. Opportunity to work in a small, close-knit team with a hands-on approach.

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience using 2D AutoCAD in an engineering or construction environment.
2. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team.
