An exciting opportunity has arisen within Hampshire CAMHS Teams for a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Nurse to join the Community CAMHS Team in Fareham and Gosport.

The successful applicant will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team working with children, young people, and families in Hampshire.

This is a permanent post and is part of a wider, well-established nursing discipline within the county where professional development and innovative work are actively encouraged.

You will be an accomplished communicator with a diverse range of communication techniques to build relationships, effect change, and support/advocate where necessary. Your professional background will be celebrated within our multi-disciplinary team where you can showcase your skills, knowledge, and expertise with autonomy, respect, and pride.

Main duties of the job

  1. To participate within the multi-disciplinary professional team in the relevant care group to deliver safe patient care focusing on therapeutic relationships.
  2. To work in partnership with families and carers to ensure the patient's individual health needs are met.
  3. Understand evidence-based therapeutic interventions relevant to the care group to include education, clinical care, wellness recovery action plans, and discharge planning.

  • Professional Registration with current registration appropriate to the job role.
  • Or Studying towards Professional Registration.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year based on full-time hours.
