Mental Health Nurse RMN £5,000 STARTING BONUS
Hours: Full-time/Part-time/Nights
Pay: £36,176 - £38,596/pa (dependant on experience) + £5,000 BONUS

We are looking for a Mental Health Nurse RMN - pay advertised is dependant on the knowledge, experience, and skills demonstrated at the interview.

Mental Health Nurse essential requirements:
  1. Valid, active NMC pin with no restrictions present
  2. At least 12 months of post-qualification experience as RMN
Mental Health Nurse role:
  1. 2 weeks of induction on starting the role including agreed shadowing time
  2. 12 hour shifts (include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays)
  3. The role is within a 38-bedded hospital on a specialised eating disorder ward
  4. Work as a part of an effective Multi-Disciplinary Team
  5. Promote the best interest of clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is consistently implemented to your allocated patients
  6. Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care which considers patient choices and wishes, while acting as the patients' named nurse
  7. Carry out patient assessments and evaluate their progress accurately
  8. Review and Monitor Nursing Care Plans
  9. Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions as appropriate
  10. Prioritise nursing duties and delegate as appropriate
  11. Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance with preceptorship and revalidation
  12. Work in accordance with safeguarding adults and children policies and requirements
  13. Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health, Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met
  14. Adhere to Medicine Management policies at all times
Pay enhancements:
  1. Monday to Friday (nights) 22:00 - 6:30 20% of hourly rate
  2. Saturday All Day 20% of hourly rate
  3. Sunday All Day 50% hourly rate
  4. Bank holidays All Day 50% hourly rate
