Job Description:

Mental Health Nurse

As one of the UK’s largest independent private mental health partnerships, our clinicians are experienced mental health professionals who work with us to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Nurses, Registered Nurses, or Psychiatric Nurses with expertise in autism assessments to join our specialist neurodevelopmental team. You will have experience and training in the (ADOS) and (ADI-R) assessment tools and will work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to evaluate and diagnose ASD, with a current focus on ADI-R assessments.

We will provide you with clinically suitable patients, triaged by our experienced team. We take care of the appointment booking, patient questionnaires, and administration, leaving you free to focus on what you do best: patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive autism assessments using ADOS and ADI-R tools.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and diagnose ASD.
  • Document and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Royal College Of Nursing Registration (or equivalent).
  • Certified and experienced in administering ADOS and ADI-R.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism.
