Job Title: Registered Nurse Mental Health

Main duties of the job

What you'll be responsible for:

  • You will be involved in providing a high level of safe and effective care.
  • Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
  • Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide mentorship and support to others.
  • The role will involve, but not be limited to, performing the above.

Job responsibilities

Trust: Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust

Location: Hereford - Stonebow Unit, Oak House - Hereford, Elgar Unit, Worcester, Princess of Wales Hospital - Bromsgrove, Cromwell

Shift Patterns: Long Day 07:30 - 20:00, Late 19:30 - 20:00.

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health hospital environment within the last 3 years.

Person Specification

Experience

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • MAPA or Safety Intervention training Advanced and Emergency is desirable; however, if you do not hold this training, it will be provided. Once 10 shifts have been completed, we will pay you for the training days.
