MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIANS - SOCIAL WORKERS or PSYCHOLOGISTS

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician in a Forensic / Custodial setting. Psychologists (including Provisional) or social workers would be considered!

• Full or part time to be considered
• Clinician and Senior Clinician roles available
• Perform initial assessments to determine best programs and assist clients in establishing goals
• Work therapeutically with clients to reintegrate into the community
• Individual Counselling and therapeutic interventions
• Developing and facilitating group programs
• Training and education of new correctional officers
• Report writing for parole hearings and on-going support within the post-release network

SELECTION CRITERIA :

• Psychologists OR Social Worker
• Experience in counselling or therapeutic interventions, ideally in a custodial or forensics setting or with experience of the justice system
• Exposure to family violence or perpetrators of violence highly desirable
• Strong experience of CBT, Clinical Risk assessments and group interventions highly regarded
• The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
