Position: Memory Assessment Nurse
Specialisation: Dementia Assessments

Shift Pattern: Monday Friday, 9am 5pm
Pay Rate: GBP27ph + GBP250 bonus

Service Expectations: You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary memory assessment service team and as an independent specialist practitioner you will ensure the effective assessment, planning, consultation, and formulation towards diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• To have a specialist knowledge and understanding of strategies and interventions in the treatment of dementia.
• To be proficient in referring to other agencies within the service or referring to other services or agencies where necessary.
• To confidently identify risk factors and act accordingly.
• To provide mentoring and clinical supervision to other staff and trainees on placement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Fully enhanced valid DBS
• Must have experience with older adults / dementia
• Must have Mental Health Nursing degree.
• 12 months post qualification experience required.

Rate Breakdown:
GBP27ph LTD GBP24.29ph PAYE Inclusive

We offer a GBP250 bonus for starting a contract with SCS.
