The Opportunity
We are seeking a Member Acquisition Manager to develop & execute membership growth strategies for CyberEdBoard. In this role, you will lead a variety of strategic efforts to recruit new members, targeting & engaging with c-suite cybersecurity executives & senior-level practitioners across the globe, in order to achieve designated growth & revenue targets.
As Member Acquisition Manager you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization as you contribute to the development of marketing, content, & outreach strategies to attract new members while fostering viable relationships with existing members to help identify opportunities to maximize sustainability & engagement for optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Recruit new members while retaining existing members.
- Identify, develop, and promote programs and initiatives to attract and retain members.
- Develop marketing campaign plans for target audiences, informed by analysis, for key initiatives.
- Conduct a variety of outreach activities to attract, recruit and retain new members to achieve designated membership growth targets.
- Initiate annual reviews with members to ensure CyberEdBoard provides customized value.
- Deliver high level customer service and elevated member experience through communication by call, email, or other means to set expectations and build meaningful relationships.
- Ensure all membership applications are processed in a timely manner and with utmost confidentiality.
- Work with the full Membership, Marketing, and Communications team (MMC) to establish annual goals and metrics to evaluate membership community engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in PR, Communication, Marketing, or other related areas.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in membership or community management/development.
- Experience working with CISOs or other C-Level executives.
- Must possess a strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and technology (B2B experience is preferred).
- Prior experience within events.
- Meticulous attention to detail & strong organization skills.
- Strong understanding of Excel, Projects, PowerPoint.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods, including survey creation.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic start-up environment with an outstanding ability to multitask and tackle tight deadlines.
- Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be an independent thinker with a solution oriented mindset.
