We currently have an exciting opportunity for a TECHNICAL MANAGER, working for one of the largest and most renowned tier 1 contractors.

This MEICA TECHNICAL MANAGER opportunity falls under their Regional Civil Engineering division based anywhere in the Greater Midlands and covers regional patches affording their staff members local work and the opportunity for career progression into more senior roles.

Projects range from £10-£50m in value and include working as part of tidal defences and water infrastructure as well as General Civil Infrastructure schemes. As such, candidates will ideally come from a contractor background and have experience delivering similar schemes looking after MEICA elements.

Overview:

1. Ensuring technically compliant and economic design solutions are developed for design stages
2. Schedules, prioritises and reviews own work
3. Analytical thinking/ Decision making
4. Ability to select economic solutions at tender stage
5. Understanding of time and implications of decisions

Education:

1. Qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND through completion of a technical apprenticeship, or degree level in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer would be desirable but not essential.

On Offer:

1. Up to £80,000 basic salary (DOE)
2. £5,400 car allowance or company car.
3. Healthcare.
4. Pension.
5. Up to 10% bonus.
