The role and what you will be doing

We are looking for a Medical Writer to join our team in Macclesfield/ Manchester or UK remote. You will report to the senior scientific leads and be responsible for:

1. Researching and developing technical material.
2. Ensuring that all output follows the written brief, is accurate in content and editorial style, and can be referenced.
3. Partnering with clients and KOLs on content development either through the Account staff or directly.
4. Attending scientific meetings where output is required.

This is a medical affairs team working in the immunology / HIV therapy area.

About you:

To succeed you will have:

1. Previous experience working in a Medical Writing role, within a medical communications agency environment.
2. An academic background in the life sciences.
3. Experience writing across a broad range of scientific deliverables e.g. training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, competitive intelligence, for a variety of medical audiences.
