An outstanding opportunity for a part time Medical Secretary to support various specialties at East Cheshire NHS Trust has arisen. Would you like to take on a role that provides you with ownership of your workload? Would you like to be creative in your approach and be responsible for supporting to ensure our patients receive the best quality of care by using your skills, experience and our trust's values and behaviors?
You will have medical typing qualifications and previous experience as a Medical Secretary. You will have excellent communication skills and be particularly caring and understanding. Experience in the use of Medisec, Winscribe Digital Dictation, PAS and e-Referral would be an advantage.
Hours to include: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
To manage the office administration of the Consultant and designated medical staff, and provide an efficient and effective secretarial service.
The post-holder acts as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the Consultant and their team.
The post requires excellent organisational skills, medical audio typing, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£26,530 to £29,114 a year, pro rata.
