The Role:

As a Fertility Researcher, you will use your medical and clinical expertise to work with our team to provide the most recent evidence-based guidance and insights to enhance our fertility program in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on the most up-to-date regulation and real life practice of fertility treatments and assisted reproductive technologies in the UK.
  • Stay up-to-date on the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority (HFEA) guidelines and ensure recommendations align with UK laws and standards.
  • Advise on up-to-date country-specific clinical practices and emerging trends in fertility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help quickly adapt fertility programs to meet the dynamic needs of UK patients.
  • Offer clinical and scientific guidance to Carrot’s Clinical Team and other departments to ensure the provision of services that meet cultural sensitivity and practical relevance.
  • Evaluate and provide a review of the latest relevant literature using peer-reviewed journals and scientific publications on fertility treatments, assisted reproductive technologies, and reproductive endocrinology.
  • Participate in virtual discussions with cross-functional teams to share insights and recommendations.

The Team:

Our team consists of a diverse group of individuals with clinical and regulatory expertise in reproductive health, menopause, fertility, pregnancy, and urology. We are passionate about helping individuals navigate their reproductive health, family building needs and to experience healthy aging through evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education and Licensing
    • Medical Degree specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
    • UK-specific licensure
      • Member or Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG/FRCOG).
      • Subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
      • Registered and licensed to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of clinical practice in reproductive health, with expertise in menopause and pregnancy care.
  • Previous experience: Supervising physician, Lead physician level of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Knowledge of diseases, conditions, and treatments, as well as potential lifestyle behaviors, impacting reproductive health, pregnancy and menopause.
  • Skills and Competences:
  • Proficient in conducting research and generating professional summaries from clinical and medical databases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable online resources and a confidential workspace.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness regarding reproductive health, pregnancy and menopause.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active clinical with research experience in reproductive endocrinology and fertility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to share knowledge effectively.
