What You’ll Do

We are currently looking for a Medical Representative for the Jabodetabek area, to join the team to continue and build on the team’s success.

As a Medical Representative, you will have the principal function of calling upon specialist physicians and retail pharmacies. You will be a technical expert on specific company products, therapeutic classes, or patient needs. Typically, you establish long-term relationships with key customers.

Reporting to the Area Manager/First Line Sales Manager, you will be mainly responsible for the area and upcountry to several nearby locations/areas. This role involves:

  • Promoting class-leading products to General Practitioners and healthcare professionals.
  • Building long-term relationships through genuine passion for the positive impacts these products have on patients’ health.
  • Working as part of a collaborative team to optimise business impact.
  • Analyzing sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes.
  • Completing administrative requirements and working within a set promotional budget accurately and within a timely manner.

Essential for the Role

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1), preferably in a Science background.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative, preferably from a multinational pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven successes in building strong external and internal relationships.
  • Effective communication, influencing, and collaborative networking skills.
  • Drive to be a self-starter, with confidence in your personal presentation, sales skills, and the ability to make a positive impact.

Desirable for the Role

  • Territory knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Current domicile similar to the vacancy.
  • Good English language capabilities.
