Colliery Court Medical Group are recruiting a Medical Receptionist to join our very busy reception team to provide a friendly, efficient, effective and helpful service to the practice population.

We are looking for:
1x post of 30 hours per week over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) shift patterns 8.30am - 5pm, 9am - 5.30pm, 9.30am - 6pm.
OR
2 x part-time 15 hour posts to make up to the 30 hours per week.
You will also be required to participate in the extended hours rota from 18:00 until 20:00 on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, approximately once per month.

You will be the first contact our patients, visitors, third party organisations will have with our practice, so you must be friendly, approachable, empathetic, efficient and an excellent communicator.

Colliery Court Medical Group is a well-established, supportive, forward thinking, GMS practice in Boldon Colliery. Located approximately 5 miles east of Newcastle, with easy access to the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel.

Supportive clinical team including 5 GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 GP Assistants and a Pharmacist.
Experienced and friendly management/admin/reception team
Teaching practice with opportunities for clinicians to participate in the teaching of GPRs, Medical and Nursing students
EMIS Web system supported by Ardens, AccuRX, footfall and eConsult

Consistently high patient satisfaction
Good CQC rating
Active members of the local primary care network
To work as part of the medical reception team to provide an efficient, effective, and helpful service to the Practice population. Through use of initiative, a flexible approach and working consistently to high standards, you will provide valuable and valued help and support to members of the Primary Health Care Team.
The post holder will show respect and courtesy to patients and colleagues, and maintain confidentiality of patient and other practice information at all times.
The post holder will be expected to take up necessary training as required, and to maintain and adhere to Practice Health and Safety policies. Occasional overtime may be required.
£12.21 an hour NMW pending confirmation of pay award
