An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated medical receptionist to join their friendly team. An opportunity has arisen for a medical receptionist to join our friendly team.
10 hrs p/w per week, to be worked over 2 days - Thursday 8:30am-1:30pm and Friday 8:30am-1:30pm.
We are a well-organised practice in Rastrick, Brighouse, who strive to consistently provide high quality care to all our patients. Our growing list size currently stands at over 5000 patients.
Duties include greeting patients and answering the telephone along with a wide variety of administrative duties. Basic computer skills are essential; however, NHS General Practice experience, along with knowledge of SystmOne, is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness is essential.
We are a small, friendly team who offer excellent appointment access without telephone triage, and our patient feedback is consistently positive.
Job Summary:
Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Job Responsibilities:
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£12.21 to £12.30 an hour depending on experience.
