Medical Laboratory Assistants (Night Shifts)

Location: Central London, Hours: 6.30pm to 7.30am, Salary: £13.15ph - £16.57ph

A large scientific company requires diligent and efficient Medical Laboratory Assistants to provide general support to the busy Sample Reception. The role involves working 3 night shifts during the week and potentially 2.

Duties will include:

• Receipt, identification, and preparation of all samples and request forms
• Handling a large volume of incoming samples
• Maintaining an accurate log via the specimen tracker system
• Assisting with incoming department queries via phone, email, and face-to-face in a timely and professional manner
• Other duties assigned by the department

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate must have proven work experience within a UK pathology laboratory, ideally as a Biomedical Graduate. You will also need to be flexible, highly motivated, an effective team player, methodical, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience of working night shifts would be advantageous.
