Job description

Medical Lab Scientist/Tech; DH; Seaford, DE

Our client, a community hospital in Seaford, DE, is seeking several Medical Laboratory Scientists/Technicians for their laboratories and clinics. These positions are both eligible for up to $2,500 for a relocation bonus, as well as up to $20,000 for a sign-on bonus.

The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/CLS/MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsible for the performance, evaluation, and correlation of test procedures and assists in the selection and evaluation of test methods. The MLS/MLT participates in the education and professional development of laboratory personnel, new employees, and students and may participate in the performance of routine administrative and non-routine technical functions.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  1. 2-year Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or
  2. 4-year Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or
  3. Meets one of the eligibility requirements as listed with ASCP for certification as an MLT or MLS
  4. Entry Level
