Join a dynamic team committed to excellence in patient care and education, and make a significant impact in the medical field.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated medical education fellow in medical education with an interest in simulation training. The aim of this post is to work together with the Postgraduate and Undergraduate Medical Education teams to help coordinate, deliver and develop medical education, across the interdisciplinary spectrum, at our main site, the Princess Alexandra hospital NHS Trust in Harlow.

In addition, the successful applicant will be supported in their personal educational development and encouraged to seek opportunities of further postgraduate qualifications in this area.
The successful applicant's personal development will be mentored and supported through the year and a personal development plan will be developed in conjunction with the Director of Medical Education and/or the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education. A portfolio of achievements will be collected through the year to evidence this plan.
The post holder will be supported by the Medical Education team.
The medical education fellow will help to supervise and work closely alongside a group of FY3 teaching fellows who are employed in joint clinical and educational roles within the trust.
The post is designed to allow full time educational activities but includes time allowance to maintain clinical practice in your chosen specialty area for one day per week, at a level dependent on the applicant's experience and qualification.
The post holder will be encouraged and supported to further their educational development through the formal study of medical education. Enrolment in a formal programme such as a postgraduate certificate would be supported and time allowed in the programme for study.
